We all know the holidays are the season of get togethers, giving, and comfort foods! And when it comes to charcuterie boards and grazing tables, there is DEFINITELY room for a platter of plant based goodness! Here are some quick and easy ways to spice up your very own Vegan Charcuterie board, OR add to get togethers this holiday season!
You put the "Cute"
in Charcuterie.
Vegan Cheeses.
WHO DOESN’T LOVE THIS?!
A perfectly decadent “cheese” that spreads oh-so-beautifully on crackers, and is sure to be a hit at your event. We love to make our homemade queso (see recipe: CLICK HERE) but we also adore a soft + creamy cashew-based cheese that can be made in 15 minutes! We love taking a base recipe such as the one listed below, then adding black pepper, fresh herbs such as dill and chives, or even diced dried fruits such as cranberry or apricot.

Dips, dips, and more dips!
Dips and spreads are the unacknowledged MVP of charcuterie boards, and when it comes to plant-based spreads, there is no shortage of tasty options! We personally go crazy for a vegan spinach + artichoke dip (don’t worry the recipe is below), but we also love to load our board up with hummus, vegan tzatziki, where you simply substitute soft tofu for the greek yogurt, or a lemon & herb white bean dip - we use This Recipe and its the bomb.

Pan Seared Tofu
This can really bulk up the board and it is easy for sharing! We have two different ways to prepare it that are simple and delicious.
First, take your favourite brand of firm tofu, pat it dry with a paper towel, then cut it into strips or cubes and toss it in a bit of oil.
Spicy Mint Tofu
- Finely chop a small handful of mint, then set aside
- Sear your tofu with a dash of salt, black pepper, chilli flakes
- At the last minute, add the mint and sear for another minute
Maple Tamari
- Toss your tofu in a couple of tablespoons each of maple syrup and gluten-free tamari
- Pan-fry the tofu for about 5-6 minutes making sure the outside is up to the crispiness that you like
- Then once done, sprinkle on sesame seeds and add to your board!
Candied Pecans
Nothing beats the deliciousness of candied nuts during the holiday season. Not only are they a perfect way to add some holiday flavor to your board, you can make an extra large batch and give them away as gifts too!
