Donair-spiced beef over shawarma rice with pickled turnip, tomato, and dill pickle, tzatziki potatoes, and sweet garlic sauce.
Marinated chicken with mozzarella and parmesan over spaghetti, tomato sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and green beans.
Sliced lemongrass chicken, turmeric rice noodles, red cabbage, peppers and carrot, tamarind peanut sauce, and crushed peanuts.
Marinated diced chicken in creamy yellow peanut curry with carrots, napa cabbage, and edamame, sticky rice, peanuts, and sesame.
Sesame-glazed chicken, broccoli, snap peas, peppers, cabbage, carrots, brown rice, creamy sesame dressing, and wontons.
Slow-cooked pulled beef chuck with roasted turnip and carrot, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, and fresh parsley.
Garlic-ginger chicken breast, red and green peppers, celery, and red onion in sweet and sour sauce over basmati rice.
Grilled teriyaki chicken over coconut brown rice, tri-color cabbage slaw, cucumber, edamame, and toasted sesame seeds.
Whole wheat tortillas rolled with spiced beef, yam, black beans, corn, red enchilada sauce, and pico de gallo.
Italian turkey meatballs over spaghetti, tomato sauce, crumbled vegan feta, and rough chopped parsley.
Sauteed bulgogi beef, seasoned brown rice, soy garlic mushrooms, steamed spinach, pickled carrot, spicy mayo, and sesame seeds.
Marinated butter chicken in a tomato coconut tikka masala curry, aromatic basmati rice, sauteed kale, and roasted red peppers.
Za'atar roasted chicken breast, fry-spiced potato wedges, za'atar peppers and broccoli, lemon garlic yogurt aioli, and parsley.

Has Changed My Weeks for the Better!** I've been subscribing to BetterDay Food Co. for several months now, and I can confidently say it's the best meal delivery service I've ever tried in Calgary – hands down, 5 stars without hesitation! As someone with a hectic work schedule, finding time to shop, prep, and cook healthy meals was always a struggle. BetterDay has completely transformed that. Their chef-crafted meals arrive fresh every Sunday, packed in compostable containers, and are ready to heat and eat in just minutes – no cooking, no cleaning, just pure convenience. The flavor is incredible! Every week, the rotating menu keeps things exciting with a perfect mix of omnivore and plant-based options. I shopped at Sprout [now BetterDay] for the first time on Nov 6 after seeing it on the Too Good to Go app! I haven’t had much luck on that app with my plant-based diet but this was awesome. Every meal was so fresh, delicious, and made me feel energized. Also very filling. That Alfredo pasta was to die for and I found myself avoiding eating out this week as I was excited to come home to more!! Unfortunately as a student living on loans, I don’t have the budget to buy the items full price just yet but will continue to keep an eye out for them on TooGoodToGo (which was honestly cheaper than groceries to make this stuff!!!). Only regret is not buying more at one time. Definitely recommend to all (whether vegan or not!) and will likely be a lifetime customer as long as I’m in Calgary (and can hopefully afford to support them by paying full price directly from their website)!! Plus the worker (not sure if owner or worker) who handed me the food was so so sweet and spent time explaining the model to me! Thanks for a great week of meals!!
Best invention EVER for anyone who's lazy in the kitchen (ME!) but still wants to experience adventures in veganism! I found Sprout [now BetterDay] just by Googling "vegan meal delivery," not knowing if such a thing existed in Calgary. It felt like divine intervention when this popped up 😂 But seriously though, the meals are DELICIOUS and the variety is amazing. Probably pricier than cooking myself but I'm willing to pay for convenience. Aren't we all? Plus, have you seen the cost of vegetables lately? Also, what makes Sprout a leader over ALL the other meal kits that are out there...PACKAGING. It's not a hundred different pieces of plastic that I need to be responsible for. Compostable, baby!! Plus I'm super happy this is a 100% local company doing great things for healthy Calgarians. Thank you Sprout!
I am not vegan, not even vegetarian, but these meals are seriously good. Outside of the amazing food, their website is super easy to use, and their packaging is so eco friendly I can’t believe it! I can’t believe this is a Calgary based company. ❤️
I recently tried Sprout Meals [now BetterDay], and I’m super impressed! The meals are tasty, healthy, and they have a great variety of dishes. The service it's super convenient – the Sunday deliveries works like a charm for me. I highly recommend giving them a try. This is the best meal subscription service in Calgary in my opinion.

I have ordered for two weeks now, and I have been super happy with all the meals. There is an extensive variety of different meals to choose from, and they have all been flavourful and satisfying. I find one meal enough for a dinner with leftovers for a light lunch. Being from out of town, and staying in Calgary for extended periods, it has been super helpful to have a vegan meal delivery service for when I’m staying at a hotel. It saves me always having to eat out and gives me lots of really yummy options. I would highly recommend to all the vegans out there!
I received my first delivery this week. It was easy to place an order and convenient to have delivered as I live outside of Calgary. The food was delicious, packaged nicely and I will definitely be ordering again!!!!

The best meal delivery service in Calgary! Being dairy free is very challenging especially when trying to use other meal delivery services. Sprout Society [now BetterDay] has amazing quality, delicious food and incredible service. Would recommend to everyone, vegan or not!
Delicious, nutrient-dense, and macro-friendly vegan meals! As a mother of young children (whom are often picky eaters), it is very hard to eat a variety of plant-based foods without some sort of food waste. Sprout meals [now BetterDay] allow me to get a variety of plant-based foods in my diet while minimizing food waste and time spent in the kitchen. Win-win! I also love that they recycle their containers. Easily becoming one of my favourite meal prep companies in the YYC area.
