Corn.
The vegetable that brought its own confetti.
Every corn kernel is technically a fruit, and every one has its own strand of silk. Which means an ear of corn is hundreds of tiny fruits standing in extremely organized little rows. Overachiever.
We love it charred until sweet turns smoky and the edges catch. It brings pop, colour and tiny golden bursts of optimism to the Zesty Verde Burrito Bowl. Frankly, rice wishes it had this much personality.
